Get to Know Us

Women In Tech Switzerland is one of the over 54 chapters of the Women in Tech® Global organization. Established in 2021, the Swiss chapter had humble beginnings with four founding board members and a handful of supportive corporate partners. We've since grown to be one of the most active chapters, with many events each year based on our strategy of encouraging girls and women to embrace STEM and amplifying the voices on women in technology. In 2024, a McKinsey White Paper noted that "...female representation in European technology jobs stands at a modest 22%. The picture is similar in Switzerland, where women remain underrepresented in technology companies (25%) and particularly in senior leadership positions (18%)." We aim to challenge and change the future of women in technology in Switzerland.
